Spinoff cancellato?

cmq secondo me è impossobile che lo cancellino...al massimo c'e lo fanno vedere + avanti

vabbè ma per cancellarlo deve aver fatto proprio schifo XDD qualche commento negativo ci sta, ma a questo punto sono arrivati?? Io non saprei esprimermi perchè la puntata in questione non l'ho vista.....però potrebbero migliorarlo in caso....in fondo era solo un "pezzo" di pilot, no?? Insomma ci si può sbizzarrire.....

ora si vocifera che forse confermano una mezza stagione..

speriamo..dopo aver visto la 2x24 di GG l'idea dello spin off ha iniziato a piacermi di più..

Gossip Girl Spinoff Not Happening This Fall

We regretfully must report a bit of sad news on the Gossip Girl front today.

According to Entertainment Weekly, The CW has picked up a new Melrose Place remake, Beautiful Life, and Vampire Diaries for next fall. Privileged and the Gossip Girl spin-off, which debuted May 11 as part of "Valley Girls," didn't make the cut.

No word if Brittany Snow & Co. will get another look in early 2010.

Oh well. It was worth a shot. At least Gossip Girl itself is coming back in just 104 days (August 31) for a third season, with hopefully many more to follow!

Why didn't the Gossip Girl spinoff get picked up? A simple case of other strong pilots out there, and the '80s theme not being fully embraced by network executives.

Here's a little Gossip Girl blurb from EW's Michael Ausiello today. Not much new here, just some scoop on why the spinoff didn't make the cut from a good source:

Q: Why did The CW kill the Gossip Girl spin-off?
A: I'm told the higher-ups never embraced the whole '80s concept. I'm also told the reason CW boss Dawn Ostroff stopped short of declaring the project dead last week was because there's a chance it could be reconceived down the road.

Anche se mai dire mai, magari gli danno una possibilità come midseason l'anno prossimo...
