GOSSIP GIRL: THE CARLYLES

The Carlyles follows the lives of the Carlyle triplets. After the death of their Grandmother, the great Avery Carlyle, Edie Carlyle must pack up her belongings, along with her three children, and leave the quaint island of Nantucket and move to the bustling city of New York. The moment the family arrives in the city, it is nothing but trouble. Meet Owen, Avery, and Baby Carlyle- the three newest and most captivating members of the Upper East Side community.

Avery longs for popularity, and is having trouble securing a desirable reputation after accidentally walking out of Barney's with an unpurchased satchel. This incident creates a barrier between her and Jack Laurent, the resident It Girl of Constance Billard. Starting out at Constance as a social outcast, she meets Sydney, a rebel-type brunette with many piercings. Sydney becomes a companion, and proves her self to be disapproving of Jack and her friends Jiffy and Genevieve. After throwing an unsuccessful tea party to discuss an upcoming leadership election, Avery teams up with Owen to throw the first real party of the year- an event Jack is determined to overthrow.

Baby is missing her resident Nantucket stoner boyfriend, Tom Devlin. To distract herself from her gloom, she becomes the dogwalker for J.P Cashman. J.P is fascinated with Baby's freespirited, boho lifestyle and finds himself smitten with her. He also is not sure of what to do about his current girlfriend Jack. Baby does not recognize this, and continues to mourn over Tom. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, she surprises Tom by showing up at Nantucket in time for a party Baby had been longing to go to. However, Tom isn't the only one who's in for a surprise.

Meanwhile, Owen is trying to locate Kat, the mysterious New Yorker who he lost his virginity to last summer in Nantucket. A strong swimmer, he immediately becomes friends with Rhys Sterling, the swim captain of St. Judes. A surprising twist occurs immediately: Kat, better known as Kelsey Talmadge is Rhys's friend and girlfriend of many years. Owen is having trouble staying loyal to Rhys and ignoring his love for Kat- especially after she breaks up with Rhys for "someone else". Owen is torn between the two, and finds himself having trouble deciding which path to choose.
